👋 Hi friends -

Welcome to The Newsletter Growth Memo. I run The Feed, the largest newsletter growth agency - 2x a month I share short reflections with my clients and other operators.

Zero formality or ads - just a guy sharing learnings from running paid ads & launching digital products for operators doing $50k-$5M / month with newsletters.

I just acquired Creme Digital.

Creme is an AI engineering studio for sales and operations teams.

We train your people on AI and build agents and software that help you accelerate revenue per employee.

Now, most acquisition announcements are cringey and self-indulgent, so I’ll just give you the TLDR on why I did the transaction:

I'd be an idiot not to own an AI-pilled engineering team right now.

Daniel Berk, who helped lead enterprise sales at beehiiv to $30M ARR, is coming on as CEO while I continue to lead The Feed.

Creme has worked with 200+ brands, from Paramount to up-and-coming agencies like Street Talk, which just won Digiday's award for best first-to-market strategy.

If you’d like to see how an audit or training can take your team from AI curious to AI native, learn more here.

The gap between sleepy sales and ops teams and the ones replacing 6-figure software contracts and automating manual work is gigantic.

7 things we're teaching teams to build (steal these)

  1. Prospecting agents. How we build this varies a ton by ICP. In my business, we pull every newsletter running Meta ads plus contact info for the CEO and the whole marketing team, then match it against my newsletter and LinkedIn connections (scored by engagement and how well I know the person). We get warm intros to potential partners immediately.

  2. A 24/7 lead router. One company was spending an hour a day copying leads from a shared inbox into their CRM. Now an agent reads every email, checks if the sender is already a customer, writes the CRM notes, scores the lead, and assigns the best leads to the rep with the highest 60-day revenue per booked call. Your best reps should ALWAYS get your best leads.

  3. Pre-call battlecards. An assistant pulls competitor data, CRM history and internal docs, then builds a battlecard and a one-page brief before every call. Prep time dropped 80%. Imagine walking into every sponsor call with case studies already customized to their niche and product. We build that.

  4. CRM maintenance and follow-ups. Your sales team should be selling. We fill 500+ CRM fields a day from Gong calls and send automatic post-call bumps when someone ghosts, based on days since last contact.

  5. Contract management agents. Automatic redlines to your base contract using call context. It also follows your sales rules and routes approvals: if a rep says on a call they'll "see what they can do" on pricing, a discount over XYZ% can go straight to your VP in Slack.

  6. A clean sales-to-delivery handoff. A closed deal in HubSpot creates the project in ClickUp, reads the client onboarding doc, does hours of research to write a client brief before kickoff, and pings it to the team in Slack.

  7. Sales training scorecards. Your SOPs and your top rep's habits become a grading rubric. Every rep can see (green, yellow, red) where they veer from best practice, so coaching gets much easier.

What we'll do for you

1. AI training

Most of you should not be hiring engineers. Fractional engineering pods cost $25k+ per month.

The higher-return first step is training the people who already know the business. Then THEY go build the tools.

We work with founders, their exec teams, and 1-2 internal "AI quarterbacks" for 2-3 months:

  • Finding what's worth building across the org

  • Upskilling the team on Claude Code and Codex

  • Building internal tools together

  • Teaching the team to keep building after we leave

2. AI implementation

Everything in training, plus a fractional Chief AI pod that owns the work:

  • Redesigning processes alongside department heads

  • Building agents and custom software

  • Training each team on what we build

  • Driving adoption

That's the letter.
